I’ve run out of storage space on this account, so I’ve moved to a new site– hopefully 2013 will bring the beginning of a new photography business for me once I move out to the West Coast, but I want to start a website where I can have a portfolio and blog all rolled into one.
I’m still debating if I’m going to stick with WordPress or Zenfolio, so for now, here’s both:

So much has happened in 2012 – a quick recap: I got engaged, got to go on a road trip where I saw tons of awesome roadside America, my first trip to Disneyland in California, I ran two 5K’s (one of last year’s resolutions), started my own Etsy business, survived Hurricane Sandy, tried out tons of new recipes and crafts thanks to Pinterest and particiapted in a Guinness Book of World Records event (most sandcastles built in an hour). Whew!
Here’s to a happy and healthy 2013– I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!
I headed back to Seaside again…this time with my family who has yet to see everything first hand. My sister, who aspires to be a roller coaster engineer in the future was especially fascinated with the Star Jet roller coaster that is now sitting in the ocean. It was low tide when we got there, and the sun was just setting, so the Star Jet reflected in the wet sand (which was littered with pebbles because of some recent storms– we usually don’t have that many rocks on our beaches!)
My parents are renovating all of the bedrooms in our house and my room is up now. Apparently I am not an electrician though- while trying to re-install a 6-pack outlet I somehow zapped myself and fried the outlet… I think ill stick to photography!
One of my favorite gifts that I got for Christmas this year is a La Sardina camera- it’s a remake of a retro 1960’s Lomo camera– I can’t wait to get some film in it and give it a shot! (Haha– get it? Give it a *shot*?)
